Once upon a time I made a solemn promise never to watch X-Factor or programmes of its ilk. But, I have to admit, these past few weeks, the Sky+ has earned its keep, recording most of them, particularly X-Factor. I have been mesmerised by John and Edward and their amazing ability to ignore the boos and insults and just get on with the job of entertaining the masses. I mean, every talentless teenager in the land must now feel that they too can make it?
Tonight the twins went out of the show and, even then, accepted defeat with grace and charm. Over the weeks they murdered every song they performed and their lack of co-ordination was a joy to behold. Good luck to them both!
